750ml 7.4% This is the 2023 edition of Raison d'Être. 2023 was an unusual year in the cidery: a cool, rainy season produced Dabinett and Bisquet apples with higher acidity and gentle fruit character, but lower alcohol. The Raison we've been able to craft is a more accessible offering than the intensity of our 2022 vintage. The aroma of freshly milled apples lifts straight out of the glass, accentuated by some gentle vanilla character from the oak. On the texture it's soft and rolling, with apricot, apple and gentle spice all working together in harmony. It's dry, bittersweet cider, just as we love it.
